Creamed Corn
Ingredients:
20 ounces of frozen corn kernels
1 cup heavy cream
½ tsp cracked sea salt
1 ½ tsp cracked black pepper
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp unsalted butter
½ cup whole milk
2 tbsp flour
Cooking Instructions:
Whip out: large skillet and a medium bowl.
Step 1:
Combine corn, heavy cream, salt, 1 tsp pepper, and sugar in the large skilled. Cook over medium to medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Stir frequently.
Step 2:
In the medium bowl, mix together the whole milk and flour and stir until flour is completely dissolved.
Mix the milk and flour mixture into the corn mixture in the skillet. Stirring frequently, cook the mixture until the corn is cooked and the mixture has thickened. 3-5 minutes.
Once the corn is cooked and mixture has thickened, remove from heat. Sprinkle remaining pepper over the top.
